The Denver groups first get together will be Wednesday February 18th from 7-9pm. Please bring a tapas-style dish that you wish to share with others. Plates, cups, and napkins will be provided. Please bring a finger food that can be eaten without utensils, or something that can be eaten with a toothpick. Please make sure you also have a serving utensil for your dish.
The address will be emailed to all of those who RSVP. The party is in the Highlands area of Denver.
Please also leave a comment telling the rest of us what you will be making, that way we do not have too much overlap and we all know how many to prepare for. Feel free to bring a friend and introduce them to our group as well.
I hope you can make it and look forward to meeting you all soon.
OK, it's hard to read the menu in this discussion thread. I can still bring the mushroom crostinis, but perhaps I should change or add something else. I have a savory mini cupcake idea I've been tossing around with red bell peppers, corn and some sort of cheese on top. Maybe, I'll do that instead... Then I won't feel so bad about the mushroom head to head...
Here is our potluck list. If I have your dish listed wrong, or you are bringing more people (or less) no worries, this is just an estimate. Some people are listed with a question mark, if this is you, please tell us what you are making.
Travis (1)- Pita Chips and Pepper Dip
Chelsea (2)- Something vegetarian
Laurette (1)- Mushroom Crostini, savory cupcake
Rochelle (3)- pears with serrano, ceviche
Meg (2) something tasty
Matt (1) -?
Selena (2)- frittata
Sarah (2)- tuna wontons
Eric (1)- goat cheese stuffed dates, N/A Sangria
So this puts us at 28, I know I got one more RSVP at my wellnesschef website, so right now plan for 30.
This is shaping up great, thanks so much everybody.
