Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone has information (historical or contemporary) about New York City's most talented female executive (or sous) chefs? Restaurant names, reviews, contact information would all be sincerely appreciated.

This is for a book project I am developing, still a couple years off but it's never too early to begin the research.

You should speak with Alie Shaper - she's not a chef, she's a winemaker, but that's close! She's at Brooklyn Oenology, and you can reach her through the website.

You also might speak with Sue Torres at Suenos.
