New York City's Female Executive Chefs

Hello All,

I'm wondering if anyone has information (historical or contemporary) about New York City's most talented female executive (or sous) chefs? Restaurant names, reviews, contact information would all be sincerely appreciated.

This is for a book project I am developing, still a couple years off but it's never too early to begin the research.

You should speak with Alie Shaper - she's not a chef, she's a winemaker, but that's close! She's at Brooklyn Oenology, and you can reach her through the website.

You also might speak with Sue Torres at Suenos.

I'm sure you already have Amanda Freitag at The Harrison. I would also include Kelly Geary, from Sweet Deliverance NYC.

If the book expands, I have my own catering biz, Skimkim.

Can't remember her name but it's a female chef at Kyotofu
