My name is David Haskell - I am a chef (by trade) and a producer of an original web-series called Waiting on Others (www.waitingonothers.com). I also grew up in Menlo Park after my folks moved from San Francisco. This web-series is a labor of love for the creative team and should be of great interest to this community. The story revolved around two NYC actresses who work in a restaurant while going on auditions. Anyone who has ever worked food service will recognize the crazy customers, creepy managers and other kinds of characters.

steamed purple cabbage rolls stuffed with red lentils
sauteed purple kale with garlic and olives
tahini sauce

plum walnut tart (Plums poached with star anise and Wild Hog Vineyards Cabernet. Crust made from walnuts, dates and vanilla)

Hi Brandy! I think you will no problem attracting a sell-out crowd :-) My husband and I would love to attend! (I don't eat meat or poultry though- only fish. I know that sometimes that is an issue...) Please keep us posted- I see Lajja Shah, Lea and more are also looking for events. Good luck :-)
