Farmers Markets here

I finally visited the downtown market and boy was I impressed, great synergy and all around good vibe down there. I would like to discuss the need in this city for more connections to local producers. I feel like the Market shopping lifestyle has not caught on here outside of the "Organic Community". In other words shopping at the Farmers market isn't popular for your average joe like it is in California.
