When The Ghet got started there were very few online social dining projects: Mike and Naomi Hebberoy's Family Supper, Jim Denevan's Outstanding in the Field and Oakland's own Dig's Bistro which closed shop in January 2006 and recently returned as a "real" restaurant.
There's a lot of press coverage on alternative dining projects.
