Raised in a southern Italian culinary tradition, I have long appreciated the pleasures of good, simple foods. I enjoy cultivating those traditions taught by my mother and grandmother and I am happiest when nourishing the people I love. My piatta forte is sprinkling parsley on stuff. And squirting colored oil on plate rims. Right? No. I think that if it's on a plate it must serve a purpose. Not disparaging presentation but just being real. I run a creative but honest kitchen. I really love doing handmade pastas, seafood soups, veggie antipastos with cool cheeses, big hunks of roasted meats. t€o me there is a common thread running through all honest food regardless of ethnicity.
