After a 6 month hiatus from the renegade dinners, I am back and am going big for this dinner!  Concentrating on some of the finer aphrodisiacs, I am creating a 7 course dinner paired with 4 different wines in a very intimate setting.   For…

Sunset Magazine write up!

Orgasmo de la Boca has finally gotten some press here in LA! After 2 years of doing these events in LA and a total of 6 in all, we finally get a little recognition. August's Sunset magazine has a small write up about the "guerilla dining" scene being the new "hot" way to dine out. Of course, we all know that it has been around for many, many years. I have found Los Angeles a particularly difficult city to produce these dinners in. I think mostly due to the "waiting for something better to come…See More

I am:
a chef, a performer, a host
I live in:
Venice Beach
About Me:
I am a owner/chef of Happy Belly and I also run an underground supper club called Orgasmo de la Boca. I recently moved back to LA after living in Barcelona for 4 years and am excited to continue Orgasmo de la Boca here in LA. Here's my bio!

At a young age Chef Alessandra Innamorato was inspired to start cooking by her mother, who didn’t like to cook, and her father, who loved to eat. By age 13, she was preparing coq a vin, fresh pasta and Tuscan feasts for her family and friends. She went on to work in kitchens galore, until 1993 when she enrolled in L’Academie de Cuisine. Here Alessandra learned culinary art and food science from master chefs Francois and Pascal Dionot and transformed what was previously only a job into a life calling.
Alessandra has cooked in three James Beard award-winning restaurants, including Fullers in Seattle. She’s worked with such notable names as Jimmy Snead, Jean-Louis Paladin, Monique Barbeau, Dean Fearing, and Gail Arnold. In 1998 Alessandra decided it was time to concentrate on her own talents and thus Happy Belly was born.
Alessandra has left a trail of happy bellies at weddings, fashion shows, backstage at rock concerts, charity events, cocktail soirees and dinner parties. She’s fed Nancy Reagan, Al Gore, Liev Schreiber, Naomi Watts, Leonard Nimoy, Angelica Huston and Jimmy Dean the Sausage King. Latin, Italian, French, and Asian entrees regularly appear on her table, as do delicious low-fat, low-carb and vegetarian dishes. She’s at ease preparing the most exquisite meals, but also designs menus featuring such tongue-in-cheek items as a meatloaf tower and Twinkies flambé. Every single dish she makes from scratch, using only the freshest of ingredients, and all of her creations are infused with style, playfulness, and above all, LOVE.
Alessandra has just returned from Barcelona after living for 4 years abroad, where she traveled throughout some of the best regions of Europe, soaking up the culinary bounty. She now lives and works as a private chef and caterer for hire Los Angeles, CA, and offers her services throughout the greater SoCal area, where she enjoys creative freedom and enhancing happy homes.

Hi Chef:
Very Impressive resume`. I am just a hobby cook that developed some very interesting flavor using the east flavors to introduce to the west dishes. A lot of TV personalities like Sara Moulten, David Rosengarten, Jose Cruz, Jamie Deen loved the flavor & are using the blends in their own dishes. My web site is www.primaenterprise.com if you have not looked at it do so & I can send you some sample to try out.
I am honored to be aquainted with you.
