Somehow I got here, and I am glad I did. I was watching top chef audition tapes and this guy was talking about the ghetto gourmet. I did a little bit of research and voila. Perfect timing since me and four friends are going to Alinea in a week. We are doing the tour, hopefully I will have some pictures to share.

I actually went to XO the other night for their soft opening, and while the menu isn't very creative, everything we ate was fantastic. It's definitely a lounge restaurant but the food was quality. It's owned by the same guys who run 975 and Pizza Republica, so no real surprise there.
I'll give you a call a little later so we can connect and maybe figure out another delicious outing.
