About Me:

I am a freelance science writer and a lifetime Bay Area native. I used to live in Oakland and still sometime lie and say I still do. It's wrong, but I am a huge lover of Oaktown. Yes, there is a there there.
I love food. I love local food. And I love eating local food at a friend's house. My fiance and I host regular dinners as do our circle of friends. I'm not much of a cook but as a science writer I always have something interesting to talk about while eating.
I am intelligent, funny, and sensitive. So sensitive, in fact, that if you don't accept me I will probably cry.
By the way, the website is brand new. If you go there, about all you will find for a while is the home page. Get off my back, I'm working on it.
