Green Chile Cookoff Anyone?
Hello All!I have been kicking around the idea of hosting a St.Patty's day Green chile cookoff at my home next month on March 20th (the Saturday after St. Pattys) not sure on the start time yet. Have a handful of friends (not members of GG) that are into it, but to do it up right I would need help with the serving for each contestant, bartending, mc, ballots, judging, coordination/ set up,etc. and hoping to recruit some volunteers. - I am originally from San Antonio, TX but I have have lived in OH, KY, WA, HI and now CO. My travels have taken me all over the US, South America, and the Carribean. Some of my most unique experiences, that have left lasting impressions on me, have been that of the local dining experiences. I also love to cook and experiment with food myself, even if it is usually within the confines of my tiny apt "test kitchen." I am hoping to create a few more memories here in Denver, before it's time for this gypsy to pack up and find a new place to call home.
