I'm a Charleston transplant, who came to NYC to attend graduate schooland then dropped out to attend the French Culinary Institute. I now work as a pastry cook at Pure Food & WIne. I am obsessed with food (although, as a primarily "raw foodist," I am also a very finicky eater). Cookbooks and food blogs get me all hot and bothered... Reality TV shows about wanna-be chefs do not. I'm a former (and maybe soon again) yoga/Pilates instructor and massage therapist, and I really, really, really want to learn how to shoot a bow and arrow and how to fence.
