Hey Skimkim! I can't wait to check out one of your events and try out your dishes. Your website is fabulous -- the food pics are especially alluring.

I started volunteering with the original Ghetto Gourmet in Oakland, CA back in 2004. We've come a long way since then, from throwing modest dinner parties in a basement apartment to launching this international network.

I wanted to encourage you to post to our "Forum" page, under the "Community" tab up above -- perhaps an exciting new recipe you've been working on or some anecdotes from a recent event.

I'll be keeping in touch in the coming months -- and posting positive press coverage of your events to the Ghet blog (if you don't beat me to the punch!).

Thanks for all your great work!

Best,

Tim

Serving, with a little wine-pouring and food-prepping thrown in for good measure. Do add me to the newsletter list and keep me posted...

I'm primarily a raw foodist, making exceptions for the exceptional morsels of well done cooked fare. Kimchi is definitely allowed, however, and I've never had it. So, thanks for the suggestions. I used to work for a catering company on the Gulf coast of Mississippi (when it still existed- pre-Katrina!) I had a great time doing it... Your company looks like the frakkin' jam. I'm in grad school and could always use a little extra cash... If you need anyone and I'm free, I'd love to be low girl on the totem pole....
