I am a fine dining chef and am trying to start a new underground restaurant called www.SOYLENTFUCHSIA.com. I need the support of local foodies. I have a dinner party planned for 6/27 and need you to attend. Be the first to experience my new style of fine food made from only the finest local and organic ingredients. I am bringing elements from molecular gastronomy restaurants like Alinea to an intimate and relaxed dinner party setting. I will prepare an amazing multi course menu using Sous Vide and will explain the modern techniques between courses. Tell your friends about my new adventure in culinarian. It will be the best way to spend the weekend evening with friends and converse with like minded people. BYOB means you can enjoy an evening out and won’t be over charged for drinks like other places. Please support the local economy. Thanks, Andrew Curtis Forlines

Rentaurant is going under wraps! For our next event we are stuffing, craddling, and tucking tasty foods inside of other tasty foods.

Based out of Washington Heights, New York, A fledgling enterprise designed to titillate the tastebuds and stimulate the mind, Rentaurant has hosted a variety of events from tapas to soul food. At our last event, we reached an important benchmark...borrowing chairs from the neighbors to accommodate the hordes of hungry celebrants. We are now ready to seek some real estate on the Ghetto Gourmet virtual block. Reservations for August 10th are accepted at rentaurant@gmail.com. Directions provided when you reserve with time and number of guests.

ok, so as far as I can tell you seem to be a "leader" of sorts and thus I am going to look to you for answers, if you please ! I am trying to get more involved in my community of foodies here in NYC, I like in Brooklyn (park slope) and have lived here in NYC for the last 6 years in which I have focused every single minute on my business I am an organic fresh herb and bell pepper & fair trade fruits importer and distributor in the USA, so yes that means large quantities, I am heavily involved in the produce world large and small farmers all over the world, a avid chef specializes in yes fresh herbs and an entrepreneur of the food world. I would like to meet more people like this here in my own stomping ground and maybe get involved more in this awesome food movement here in NYC. And have some fun with like minded people, now that I have well a little more time! Ok so that is the jist. I am new to the site and embarassingly have never joined any site, despite that everyone around me is in one, this is the one I chose! hope you can help!

Where do I start"?

thanks,
Nissa
