Hey y'all, we had a fantastic dinner last night at a beautiful Arts n' Crafts house in North Oakland last night. The sustainable and omnivorous menu included pork belly with frisee, a yin and yang of carrot and parsnip soup topped with pickled ginger and meyer lemon zest, a Duarte Loch salmon with beurre blanc and fingerling potatoes, asparagus and golden beets, and finally a chocolate meringue with orange zest (one lucky guest got the citrus pot de creme)!

Our featured artist was Jennifer Justice of the Jennifer Justice Show. She kicked off with some Balkan accordion standards...and then finished with 3 hilarious songs around dating, Facebook and European men. Click on the Youtube video below! We also had some really cool guests coming from many different backgrounds - from engineering, opera, corporate investments, PhD, sustainable business and sales. Meeting cool people like these is always a joy! Hope to eat with ya soon!
