Come join us in our vegetable patch! This is our second underground restaurant, and we will be featuring Bobby Madrid as our guest chef using up our fava beans (that's them in the background!), mustard greens, and cylinder beets.
Fairy-Tale Farm is an urban homestead where we tranform our humble fruits and vegetables to new culinary heights. A la "dinner in the field", we try to use as much of the produce growing around the table in the menu, with the hopes of bringing sustainable gardening into the mouths of the many. And we hope to pay for the ridiculous land prices here in Santa Cruz.
Menu this month includes chilled borscht in cucumber shooters, homemade pappardelle pasta with red pepper cream sauce and fava beans, sweet-potato gnocchi, blackened coho salmon in phylo dough, and espresso/chili rubbed tri tip. More details can be found at www.fairy-talefarm.com
Reservations can be made at: reservations@fairy-talefarm.com Suggested donation $25-$50
