Hey Yall - Sorry you're finding the site so difficult to navigate. For the last four years I've traveled the country organizing about 350 community dining events, but in the last 6 months I've taken a break from doing events to build a community website where people can connect and do events of their own. We've already had groups get started and do events in LA and Minneapolis.
I recently released the groups feature so members can create their own groups, and within the next few weeks, i"ll introduce an event feature where members can promote and manage rsvps for their own events. I'm also drafting some guidelines and resources for people that want to start their own projects.
I hope to institute a "monthly theme ingredient", and to make the logo and menu templates available to members.
I really believe in the power of using the internet to get new friends together for dinner, and I hope to build a site that tracks the "underground restaurant" and "social dining" movement and serves as a meeting point for passionate and curious foodies.
It's a slow process as I'm doing all the work and paying for the site myself. It's been quite a learning experience.
I invite you to read about how i got started in "the movement" section, and on my page you can read some of my thoughts regarding online social dining.
Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions, and sorry that I'm not currently producing public events.
