We received an email over the previous weekend about a last-minute wine dinner with Stephen Derenencourt, a consultant from Bordeaux. The dinner was five courses and 14 wines. It was fabulous overall, but the best part was sitting across from a couple that shared our love of Burgundy. They provided us with a contact in the region to order wine directly for shipment to Chicago; I'm going to start getting my order together this weekend.
